A concept for a Columbian historical disaster film in which an electrical substation gets destroyed by a massive flash flood in an all CG scene.
TVITBF - Matte Painting BG
A highly stylized sky for a modern fantasy short film that was highly ambitious for one artist and eventually abandoned. Lots of hard work went into this project, but as the time passed that went into post-production, technology got too much better to ignore the way it was filmed and losses had to be cut.

Matte Painting
A reconstruction of a volcanic event in history at the Kiluea crater in Hawaii. The foreground and background plate for this scene were entirely CG – a 3d crater edge and volcano caldera mixed with a greenscreen jib plate with the actors and elements of this Matte Painting for a dynamic preview of the style and look of the final film.
